Q: What is AIAIO?
AIAIO is Shaye’s AI-powered virtual try-on experience. It lets you see how Shaye garments may look on a body similar to yours before you buy. You upload a selfie and share a few measurements, and AIAIO generates a personalised visual preview of the outfit on a body that approximates your shape and size.
Q: How do I use AIAIO?
It’s a three-step process. First, upload a clear selfie of yourself. Second, enter your basic measurements (height, bust, waist, hips) — or pick the size you usually wear. Third, choose any Shaye garment you’d like to try on. AIAIO does the rest, and your personalised try-on appears in about 20–30 seconds.
Q: Is AIAIO free to use?
Yes, AIAIO is currently free for all Shaye customers as part of your shopping experience. We may introduce premium features in the future, but the core try-on experience will always be free.
Q: Do I need to download an app?
No app required. AIAIO works directly in your web browser on shaye.co. We’re working on a mobile app for an even smoother experience, coming soon.
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - How It Works
Q: How does AIAIO generate the try-on?
AIAIO uses advanced generative AI to create a personalised image of the garment on a body that matches your size and shape. The AI looks at your selfie to capture your face and skin tone, uses your measurements to select the closest matching body shape from our reference library, and then renders the chosen garment as it would drape on that body type.
Q: What does AIAIO need from me?
Just two things: a clear front-facing selfie (good lighting, no sunglasses or hat), and your basic measurements or your usual Shaye size. The more accurate your measurements, the better the result.
Q: How long does it take?
Most try-ons are ready in 20–30 seconds. During high-traffic moments, it may take slightly longer. We’ll always show you a progress indicator so you know what’s happening.
Q: What kinds of body shapes does AIAIO support?
AIAIO is designed around 14 body shapes commonly found in Shaye’s customer base, covering sizes S through XXL across four major shape categories: Pear, Rectangle, Hourglass, and Apple. We’re continuously expanding our shape library to be more inclusive.
Q: Why do you ask for my body shape and measurements?
Because no two bodies are the same, even at the same size. A “Medium” Pear and a “Medium” Apple wear the same garment very differently. By understanding your specific shape, AIAIO can show you a much more accurate preview of how the garment will actually look on you.
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - Accuracy & Realism
Q: Is the AIAIO image a real photo of me?
No. AIAIO generates an AI approximation, not a real photograph. The body shown is the AI’s best interpretation of how a body matching your measurements might look — it’s not a recording or capture of your actual body. Use AIAIO as a helpful style preview, not as a definitive representation of your real appearance.
Q: Will the garment fit me exactly the way it shows in AIAIO?
Probably very close, but not exactly. AIAIO is an approximation based on your stated measurements, and real garments may drape slightly differently on your actual body. We recommend using AIAIO to evaluate style, colour, print, and overall silhouette — and then trusting Shaye’s published size chart for fit decisions.
Q: Why doesn’t the AIAIO body look exactly like me?
AIAIO uses a library of body shape references rather than recreating your exact body from a single photo — that would require much more information than a selfie can provide, and it would also raise significant privacy concerns. Instead, we match you to the closest body shape in our library and render the garment on that. The result should feel familiar and useful, even if it’s not pixel-perfect.
Q: Sometimes the result looks wrong or strange. Why?
AIAIO is in beta, and the AI doesn’t always get it right. Common issues include slight changes in your face, body proportions that look off, or unusual fabric drape. We’re continuously training and improving the model. If you see something that doesn’t look right, please tap the “This doesn’t look right” feedback button on the output — your input helps us improve.
Q: How accurate is AIAIO compared to a real photo?
AIAIO aims for realistic style preview, not perfect photographic accuracy. For most users, the silhouette, drape, colour, and overall look will closely match how the garment appears in real life. For body shape specifically, AIAIO is most accurate for Indian women in the size and shape ranges we’ve trained on, and less accurate for body types outside that range.

Q: What if the real garment looks different from my AIAIO try-on?
It can happen, and we want to be upfront about it. AIAIO is an AI-generated preview, not a guarantee of exact fit or appearance. Real garments may differ slightly in how they drape, how the colour appears in different lighting, and how the fabric sits on your specific body. If the garment you receive doesn’t match your expectations, Shaye’s standard return and exchange policy applies in full — your AIAIO try-on does not affect your return rights in any way.
Q: Can I return a garment if it doesn’t look like the AIAIO preview?
Yes. AIAIO is a styling tool to help you explore, not a binding contract. If the garment doesn’t work for you for any reason — including looking different from the try-on — you can return or exchange it under Shaye’s regular return policy. No questions asked, no need to mention AIAIO.
Q: Does using AIAIO change Shaye’s return policy?
Not at all. AIAIO is an additional feature to help you shop with more confidence. All of Shaye’s existing return, exchange, and refund policies remain exactly the same whether or not you used AIAIO before purchasing. Using AIAIO does not waive any of your rights as a customer.
Q: Should I rely on AIAIO instead of checking the size chart?
No — please use both. AIAIO is great for visualising style, colour, print, and overall silhouette. Shaye’s size chart is the definitive guide for fit decisions. We recommend using AIAIO to decide “do I like how this looks?” and the size chart to decide “which size should I order?” Together, they give you the most complete picture before buying.
Q: What if AIAIO showed the garment fitting well but the real garment doesn’t fit?
We’re sorry if that happens. AIAIO works from your stated measurements and our body shape library, which may not perfectly match your actual proportions. Fit is complex — it depends on your exact body, posture, preference for loose vs snug, and the specific garment’s cut. If the fit isn’t right, please return or exchange the garment through Shaye’s normal process. And please also tap “This doesn’t look right” on the AIAIO output so we can improve our accuracy for next time.
Q: Will AIAIO eventually be accurate enough to replace trying clothes on?
That’s our long-term goal, but we’re not there yet and we want to be honest about that. Today, AIAIO is best thought of as a smart preview — it gives you a much better sense of how a garment will look on your body type than a flat catalogue photo can, but it’s not a substitute for physically trying something on. We’re improving every week, and we believe AIAIO will get meaningfully closer to real-life accuracy over time.
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - Privacy & Safety
Q: What happens to my photo after I upload it?
Your photo is processed securely to generate your try-on, then either stored briefly for your session or deleted immediately based on your preferences. We never share your photo with third parties, and we never use your photo to train our AI models without your explicit consent.
Q: Can I delete my photo from your system?
Yes, at any time. Send an email to customercare@shaye.co with the subject line “Delete my AIAIO data” from the email address linked to your Shaye account. We will aim to complete the deletion within 2–3 business days, and guarantee it will be done within 30 days.
Q: Is my data secure?
Yes. AIAIO uses encrypted connections, secure cloud storage, and follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) requirements. We don’t sell or share your personal data with anyone outside the AIAIO and Shaye operations team.
Q: Will Shaye use my AIAIO try-ons for marketing?
Never without your explicit permission. Your AIAIO outputs belong to you. If we ever want to feature a customer try-on in our marketing — for example, for a customer story or testimonial — we’ll ask you first and respect your decision either way.
Q: Can I use AIAIO to try on clothes for someone else?
AIAIO is designed for personal use only. Please do not upload photos of other people without their explicit consent, and never upload photos of children. If you’d like to suggest an outfit for a friend, share the AIAIO link with them and let them try it themselves.
Q: What if I’m under 18?
AIAIO is strictly available only to users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, you must not use this Service.
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - Consent & Data
Q: What happens if I withdraw my consent?
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, no questions asked. When you withdraw consent, we will stop processing your data for AIAIO, delete your selfies and body measurements from our systems, remove any saved try-on outputs from your account, and stop using any of your data for future improvements. We will aim to complete the deletion within 2–3 business days, and guarantee it will be done within 30 days. Your Shaye shopping account and order history remain completely unaffected — withdrawing AIAIO consent only affects your AIAIO data, nothing else.
Q: How do I withdraw my consent or request data deletion?
Send an email to customercare@shaye.co with the subject line “Withdraw AIAIO Consent” from the email address linked to your Shaye account. We’ll acknowledge your request within 48 hours and aim to complete the deletion within 2–3 business days, with a maximum of 30 days.
Q: Can I use AIAIO again after withdrawing consent?
Yes. If you change your mind, you can re-consent and start using AIAIO again at any time. You’ll need to upload a new selfie and re-enter your measurements, since your previous data will have been deleted.
Q: What exactly gets deleted when I withdraw consent?
Everything AIAIO-specific: your selfie, your body measurements, your saved body shape profile, and any generated try-on images or videos. Your Shaye account, order history, wishlist, and any non-AIAIO data remain completely untouched.
Q: Will withdrawing consent affect my Shaye account or orders?
No. Your Shaye shopping experience continues exactly as before. AIAIO is an optional add-on feature. Withdrawing AIAIO consent simply removes the try-on feature from your experience — everything else stays the same.
Q: Is my consent shared with anyone outside Shaye?
No. Your AIAIO consent covers data processing by Shaye and AIAIO only. We do not share your consent status, your photos, or your measurements with any third party.
Q: What if I consented but never uploaded a photo?
No problem. If you gave consent but never actually used AIAIO, there’s no data to delete. You can email customercare@shaye.co to withdraw consent anyway for peace of mind, or simply leave it — no data is stored until you actively upload a selfie and measurements.
Q: How long does data deletion take?
We aim to complete deletion within 2–3 business days of receiving your request. In all cases, deletion will be completed within a maximum of 30 days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your data has been fully removed.
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - Try-On Limits & Retries
Q: How many times can I generate a try-on?
During our beta period, you can generate up to 10 try-ons per day. Each new garment or garment combination counts as one try-on. Retrying the same garment because the first attempt didn’t look right does not count against your limit — we don’t penalise you for our AI having an off moment.
Q: What happens if my try-on fails?
Just tap “Try Again” and we’ll generate a fresh attempt. Failed generations — where the system couldn’t produce an output at all — are never counted against your daily limit. You only use a try-on when you actually receive a result.
Q: Why is there a daily limit?
Each AIAIO try-on requires significant computing power to generate. The daily limit helps us keep the service free and fast for everyone. As we scale our infrastructure, we plan to increase or remove these limits.
Q: Can I get more try-ons per day?
No. If AIAIO failed to generate your try-on (you saw an error message or apology screen), the retry is free and doesn’t count toward your daily limit. Only successfully delivered try-ons count.
Q: Does trying a different colour of the same garment count as a new try-on?
Yes, because each colour variation requires a fresh AI generation. However, trying a different size of the same garment in the same colour does not count as a new try-on, since the garment image is the same — only the body reference changes.
Q: What if I’ve used all my try-ons for the day?
Your limit resets at midnight IST. In the meantime, you can still browse all of your previously generated try-ons, save or share them, and shop on shaye.co as usual. You just won’t be able to generate new ones until the next day.
Q: Will the daily limit change in the future?
Very likely yes. As we improve our infrastructure and understand usage patterns better, we plan to increase the limit. Our goal is to make AIAIO as accessible as possible — the current limit is a practical constraint, not a permanent design choice.
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - Troubleshooting
Q: Why didn’t my try-on generate?
A few common reasons: high traffic on our servers, an issue with your photo (too dark, too blurry, multiple people in frame, or no face visible), or a temporary glitch in our AI pipeline. Please try again in a few minutes. If it keeps failing, contact us at customercare@shaye.co and we’ll sort it out.
Q: My try-on looks really wrong — what do I do?
First, please tap the “This doesn’t look right” feedback button on the output. Your feedback helps us improve. Then, you can try generating it again — sometimes a second attempt produces a better result. If it’s still wrong, contact us at customercare@shaye.co with a description of what looked off.
Q: Why does my face look different in the try-on?
AIAIO replaces the face in the generated body with a face matched to your selfie, but the AI’s interpretation is not pixel-perfect. The face should look recognisably like you in most cases, but small differences are normal. We’re continuously improving face fidelity.
Q: My body looks different from my real body. Is AIAIO wrong?
AIAIO matches you to the closest body shape in our library based on your measurements — it doesn’t recreate your exact body. The result should feel familiar but won’t be a perfect match. If the body shape feels significantly off, double-check that your measurements are accurate, or try a different shape category.
Q: The video froze or didn’t load.
This usually means a temporary connection issue. Refresh the page and try again. If the problem persists, your browser or network may be the issue — try a different browser or switch from WiFi to mobile data (or vice versa).
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - Sharing & Saving
Q: Can I save my AIAIO try-on?
Yes. Tap the download button below any try-on to save the image or video to your device. You can also share it directly to WhatsApp, Instagram, or other apps from the share button.
Q: Can I share my try-on with friends?
Absolutely. Tap “Share” on any AIAIO output to send it via WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other messaging app. The shared file will include a small “AI-generated by AIAIO” watermark so it’s clear the image is an AI preview, not a real photo
Q: Can I get my try-on without the AIAIO watermark?
The watermark is part of every AIAIO output and cannot be removed. This is to ensure that AI-generated images are always clearly identifiable as such, which protects both you and us from any misunderstanding.
AIAIO Virtual Try-On - Garments & Catalogue
Q: Which Shaye garments are available on AIAIO?
Most current Shaye garments are available for virtual try-on, including kurtis, dresses, tops, blouses, and pant sets. New arrivals are added to AIAIO within 1–2 days of being listed on shaye.co. If you see a garment on the site that doesn’t have a “Try On” button yet, check back soon.
Q: Can I try on multiple garments together?
Yes. AIAIO lets you mix tops with bottoms to see complete outfit combinations. Just tap “Try On” on the first item, then “Add to Outfit” on the second, and AIAIO will render both together.
Q: Can I try on different colours or sizes of the same garment?
Yes. After your first try-on, tap “Try Another Colour” or “Try Another Size” to see how the variations look on you without re-uploading your photo or measurements.
Q: Why isn’t the new collection showing up in AIAIO?
New garments take 1–2 days to be added to AIAIO after they go live on the main site. If a garment you want isn’t showing up, please contact customercare@shaye.co and we’ll prioritise adding it.

Q: Why is AIAIO labelled as Beta?
AIAIO is the first virtual try-on of its kind built specifically for Indian women’s bodies, and we’re continuously improving the technology. Some outputs may be inaccurate or unexpected as we refine the AI. Calling it Beta is our way of being honest with you about what to expect — and an invitation for your feedback as we get better.
Q: How is AIAIO improving?
We’re constantly training our AI on a wider variety of body shapes, garments, and customer feedback. Every time you tap “This looks great” or “This doesn’t look right,” you’re helping us make AIAIO smarter for the next user. We push improvements weekly.
Q: Will AIAIO support more body shapes and sizes?
Yes. Our current library covers 14 shapes from S to XXL, and we’re actively expanding to include more sizes, more body types, and better representation across the diversity of Indian women’s bodies.
Q: Can I suggest a feature?
Absolutely. We love hearing from customers. Email customercare@shaye.co with any suggestions, and we’ll consider them for future updates. Some of our best features came directly from customer ideas.
Q: Is AIAIO available for men’s clothing?
